IKI-22
Directional fault indicator for short circuits and earth faults
Part-No.: 2520461
Directed fault detection for all grids
Direction detection, display and remote message of short circuits and earth faults. In compensated and isolated nets, the direction of the earth fault is recorded using the earth fault wiper method.
Voltage information from the CAPDIS voltage test system
The voltage signals required for direction determination are obtained by means of a y-cable from the voltage system CAPDIS or CAPDIS-PI.
Earth fault detection without balance current transformer
The sum signal is calculated from the three phase transformers. A balance current transformer is not required, which minimizes the installation effort.
Operation possible without auxiliary energy
Short-circuit and earth fault detection (NOSPE and KNOSPE) are possible without connecting auxiliary energy. An unsecured auxiliary power supply is required for the directional detection of earth faults in compensated and isolated grids using the earth fault wiper method.
Simple to use and adjust
The operation and display of the device are designed according to the IKI-20 family: The LCD display shows the fault type phase-selectively. For AWE applications, the first and second fault are displayed in a differentiated manner. Two separate LEDs indicate the fault direction. The parameterization is carried out via DIP switches behind the front flap. The test/reset button is used for the function test and the reset of a fault display.
