Part-No.: 2520327
With the IKI-50 product line, flexible field control devices are available for local network stations in various access routes. The IKI-50 is the right solution for intelligent local network stations and offers the distribution system operators a high degree of transparency and cost-effectiveness. Information is available both on site and in the central network control centre. Errors can be detected and localized immediately.

Remote control of intelligent local network stations
Intelligent local network stations are often remotely controlled. However, the motor control may only take into account the switching states and the permissible switching currents (sham current and reactive current). The IKI-50 can issue control commands for motor operation via Modbus. The following example shows an application in a multi-field switchgear. In addition to the voltage measurement via capacitive dividers using the CAPDIS, measurements via ohmic dividers are also possible. The IKI-50 has an internal energy buffer for at least 6 hours. The motors and the telecontrol technology must be supplied by a secured auxiliary voltage, e.g. PSU-Hybrid.
Automatic switchover
The automatic switching system is used to reduce the re-entry time to a minimum. If the synchronicity of the two feeding sources is not guaranteed, a pause time between the shutdown of the first feed and the connection of the reserve feed is always recommended. The logic for the automatic switching system can be configured either via the display or conveniently via the KriesConfig evaluation software.
