Insulators with integrated capacitive pickup are used for high-voltage decoupling in air-insulated indoor switchgear. They can thus be used for testing for absence of voltage with a capacitive Voltage Detecting Systems such as CAPDIS or for voltage measurement with a downstream measuring device such as IKI-23, IKI-50 or IKI-55.
