CAPDIS-Sense

CAPDIS-Sense is used to retrofit a capacitive tap in air-insulated switchgears without having to intervene in the switchgear. The capacitive tap enables voltage testing via the integrated Voltage Detecting Systems VDIS of the CAPDIS series, as well as further fault direction detection with fault direction indicators of the IKI series.

In conjunction with fault direction detection devices of the IKI series and a CAPDIS, the sensor can be used for easy retrofitting of air-insulated systems.

Easy retrofit

The sensor can be installed in the switchgear without any structural intervention.

Increase personal safety

No longer necessary to perform the voltage absence test with open doors of air-insulated switchgears. With retrofitting of the sensor and a CAPDIS, the switchgear door remains closed during voltage absence testing. This increases the personal safety of the operating personnel.
