CAPDIS_top

The CAPDIS_top is an integrated Voltage Detecting Systems for checking for absence of voltage in medium-voltage switchgear in accordance with IEC 62271-213:2021 (or IEC 61243-5) with integrated three-phase continuous indication. It can be plugged onto the IKI-23 fault indicator.

Retrofittable voltage testing system for IKl-23

CAPDIS_top is combined with the IKl-23 and thus converts the device into a fault indicator including voltage testing system. The CAPDIS-top is permanently placed on the capacitive measuring point.

Saving space

Both basic functions fault detection and voltage testing find space in a housing for standard cutout 45 x 92 mm.

Compliant with standards

CAPDIS_top is a complete voltage testing system according to DIN EN 61243-5 or VDE 61243-415

No battery required

Voltage testing as well as self-test without battery or auxiliary voltage.

Maintenance-free due to self-monitoring

No periodic retesting required according to VDE 0682-T 415 and BGV A3, as the device permanently monitors the response threshold and indicates it with a three-stage voltage level display (half, full and outlined flash arrow).

Complete insulation monitoring of the capacitive divider

Complete primary-side and secondary-side monitoring and display of the insulation status of the capacitive voltage divider.

Integrated self-test function

No external test device is required to test for voltage-free condition. Integrated function test by means of test button, in accordance with patent DE 103 04 396.
