RTU and Station Control Technology for more Availability
In a ring-main unit, many digital devices for protection and monitoring can be connected to a decentralised RTU system. This bundels information for communication with superordinate systems, as for example SCADA centers.
With Kries, local systems can be retrofitted and upgraded to intelligent ring-main units and decentralised control units. Events can thus be registered, documented and filed optimally. Procedural messages, fault and malfunction indications as well as measurement results are available for a longer period. Protective measures can be adapted to the application and implemented proactively. UPS devices and voltage buffers round off the Kries range of intelligent protection devices.
