KFDI-23 Kries Feeder Inspector

The TE Connectivity (TE) Kries Feeder Inspector (KFDI) is an advanced solution combining CAPDIS_Sx_55 (R5), enabling voltage detection and partial discharge indication, along with IKI fault current indicators, into an all-in-one plug-and-play magnetic compact unit. The KFDI is a cost-effective and easy-to-install solution for modernizing and upgrading medium voltage distribution switchgears and offshore wind installations.

The KFDI eliminates the need for multiple devices and simplify both installation and maintenance. With its simplified design, the KFDI offers a quick, straightforward installation - simply connect the sensors to the main terminals, and the unit is ready to operate. Its magnetic housing enhances the ease and speed of installation in various applications.


The safety features of the CAPDIS_Sx_55 (R5), including advanced voltage detection, partial discharge indication and self-monitoring, are fully incorporated into the KFDI series. It consists of 3 versions: KFDI-23, KFDI-50 and KFDI-55. Based on the application and device, the KFDI can range from simplified directional fault indication with KFDI-23, to offering power load monitoring, remote control and network automation with our most advanced KFDI-55.
