Accurate Voltage Measurement in RMU

The IKI-50_1F R2 is equipped with two voltage inputs:

  1. Precision voltage measurement from a reference divider (e.g. resistive divider with accuracy of 0.2 to 0.5 %, e.g. from the transformer field).
  2. Voltage measurement input from CAPDIS, which is present in any field anyway for voltage testing.

The capacitive voltage measurement from CAPDIS can be calibrated with the reference signal and thus becomes a precision voltage measurement with system accuracy of 1 % for each feeder.


The cost saving per feeder with CAPDIS instead of precision dividers is approx. 600 to 900 Euro due to the elimination of field-selective precision dividers.
