Digitization of the distribution network level
Transparency requires digitization
Transparency Requires Digitization
The increasingly decentralized feed-in makes completely new demands on the control of the distribution network level. A prerequisite for this is comprehensive transparency of the networks, which can only be achieved by a high degree of digitalization. This degree of digitization can be divided into five levels. Kries offers innovative solutions for all five levels of digitisation.
Errors are recorded on site and displayed in the station
This digitisation level requires that operating personnel visit the local network station in question. Kries offers the necessary components such as voltage testing and fault detection systems
Information on errors and load curves are transmitted remotely
This long-distance transmission offers comprehensive transparency of the distribution network at central points, thus enabling precise fault location. Kries offers systems for remote transmission and for display in control systems.
Switching operations are also remotely controlled
Local network stations with motorization enable the targeted separation of faulty network sections. Kries enables the remote control of local network stations with special components.
In the event of a fault, switchovers and releases are carried out automatically at the node
Voltage interruptions can be kept extremely short by automated switching (ATS). Kries offers customized ATS solutions.
Distribution network sectors are operated automatically using algorithms (self-healing, PONLINE autopilot)
Faulty network sections can be switched off completely automatically. Other network sections are thus not affected by disturbances. Kries develops systems and algorithms for self-healing distribution networks in its own laboratory facilities.
