Grid Demonstrator: Overview of the components
The Grid Demonstrator makes it easy to conduct training and simulations. Few components are necessary for this.
Grid demonstrator: connection and commissioning
Simply connect the components depending on the exercise to be performed and commission the system.
Grid demonstrator: short circuit
Simulate a short circuit and check the displays on the devices.
Grid demonstrator: earth fault and double earth fault with isolated neutral
Simulate an earth fault or double earth fault in the isolated grid and check the indications on the devices.
Grid Demonstrator: Static earth fault with compensated neutral
Simulate a ground fault and test the detection of the ground fault via the static fault procedure.
Grid Demonstrator: Transient earth fault with compensated neutral
Simulate a ground fault and test the detection of the ground fault via the transient fault procedure.
Grid demonstrator: cross calibration
The IKI-50_1F R2 is equipped with a patented function for cross calibration. This allows the voltage measurement of the device to be calibrated to a precision divider in an adjacent field.
Grid demonstrator: load flow
Simulate a load flow and check the display incl. direction information at the field control unit.
Grid demonstrator: Switching function
Simulate a switching operation and check the switch positions on the display of the field control unit.
Grid Demonstrator: Disturbance
Simulate a transient disturbance that can provide early indications of potential vulnerabilities in the grid.
